Copper. The element your skin already makes.
Cupré is India's first copper active face mist — formulated to activate your skin's own antioxidant defence, eliminate surface bacteria and deliver deep hydration simultaneously. Seven ingredients. Every one with a documented reason.
Copper PCA doesn't work on the surface. It works at the cellular level — activating enzyme systems, disrupting bacteria and regulating the skin environment simultaneously.
Copper PCA activates Cu-Zn Superoxide Dismutase — your skin's primary antioxidant enzyme. SOD neutralises superoxide radicals generated by UV exposure and urban pollution at the cellular level. Unlike topical antioxidants that sit on the surface and degrade, this works from within. It cannot oxidise in the bottle because it activates an enzyme, not a molecule.
Copper's contact-kill mechanism — the oligodynamic effect — disrupts bacterial cell membranes on contact. This includes Cutibacterium acnes, the primary driver of inflammatory acne. The mechanism is selective: it acts faster on bacterial phospholipid membranes than on mammalian skin cells. No antibiotics. No alcohol. No resistance development. Active for 2-4 hours per application.
Glycerin draws moisture from multiple sources into the skin. Propylene Glycol enhances penetration and eliminates the tacky residue most mists leave. Hyaluronic Acid binds moisture at the surface for immediate smoothing. Three different molecular weights, three different absorption speeds — all working simultaneously with every spray. Comfortable hydration lasting 3-4 hours.
Skin's natural pH is 4.5-5.5. Most tap water in India is 7-8. Every alkaline rinse disrupts the acid mantle — the skin's first line of defence. Cupré is formulated at pH 5.5-6.5, within your skin's natural range. Copper PCA maintains this slightly acidic environment where the microbiome thrives, the barrier holds and bacteria cannot establish. Not just compatible — actively supportive.
Most face mists are water, glycerin and rose extract. Cupré is a copper-active mineral treatment in a fine mist format — because misting delivers actives evenly across 100% of the face with every application, with no waste, no uneven application, no residue.
No filler. No fragrance. No ingredient without a documented function. The complete INCI list — because transparency is not a feature, it is a standard.
Demineralised water — free from minerals, chlorine and contaminants that would interact with active ingredients or destabilise pH. The only correct base for a copper formulation.
Primary humectant. Draws moisture from multiple sources into skin and holds it there. Universally tolerated by every skin type. The foundation of the hydration system.
Secondary humectant and penetration enhancer. Works at a different speed and depth to glycerin — together creating dual-layer hydration. Directly responsible for the non-sticky finish.
The hero. Copper bound to a natural skin moisturising factor found in human skin. Source of the natural copper-teal colour. Antioxidant via SOD activation. Antimicrobial. Sebum-regulating. pH-maintaining. The most underused active ingredient in Indian skincare.
Hero ActiveTertiary humectant. Adds surface smoothing and moisture binding to complete the three-depth hydration architecture. Works at the epidermis level for immediate perceptible comfort.
The sole preservative. At 1% it is effective, well-studied and the global standard for water-based cosmetic formulations. Its presence is what makes Cupré safe for daily use over months.
Chelating agent. Binds metal ions in water that could destabilise the formulation or reduce preservative efficacy. Its job is invisible and essential.
Cupré does not replace your routine. It enhances it. Use it any time your skin needs it — before, during or after other products. The formulation is designed for multiple daily applications.
Mist onto clean damp skin before serums and moisturiser. 2-3 pumps held 15cm from face. Eyes and mouth closed. Copper PCA primes the surface while humectants prepare skin for what follows. Pat gently — do not rub.
Mist over bare skin or makeup to refresh. Non-sticky formula does not disturb foundation. Copper continues its surface work with every application. 1-2 pumps as needed.
Apply after cleansing before evening actives. The copper-balanced pH environment supports optimal absorption of subsequent products. 2-3 pumps. Allow 30 seconds before the next step.
Post-exercise. Pre-flight. After sun exposure. After face mask. Cupré is formulated for real daily life — use when it is right for your skin, not according to a rigid schedule.
Copper PCA is an active compound. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with clean water. This caution exists because this mist contains a real active — not scented water.
Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) at its required pH of 2.5-3.5 degrades copper compounds. Use Vitamin C in the morning. Use Cupré in the evening. They work in shifts — not together.
Apply a small amount to the inner arm. Wait 24 hours. If no reaction, proceed with regular use. Discontinue if redness, irritation or discomfort develops. External use only.
Copper PCA regulates sebum and maintains antimicrobial balance. Non-comedogenic. Weightless finish adds no shine.
Triple humectant system delivers multi-depth hydration. Comfortable for hours without tightness or the need to reapply.
pH-balancing copper PCA and the humectant system work across different zones simultaneously. No split routine needed.
No fragrance, no alcohol, no harsh actives. Copper PCA is one of very few actives tolerated by reactive skin during distress.

Copper PCA is copper pyrrolidone carboxylic acid — copper bound to a natural moisturising factor (PCA) that your skin already produces. It works at the epidermis level delivering three documented benefits: antimicrobial activity against surface bacteria, sebum regulation, and maintenance of the slightly acidic pH your skin barrier needs. The natural blue-teal colour you see in the bottle is the copper PCA in solution — not added dye.
Hydration comfort lasts 3-4 hours per application depending on your environment. In air conditioning this may reduce to 2-3 hours — reapply as needed. The copper PCA antimicrobial effect is most active in the 2-4 hours following application. Morning and evening application maintains continuous surface balance. With consistent twice-daily use over 2-4 weeks, the skin's own pH regulation improves progressively.
Vitamin C as L-Ascorbic Acid requires a pH of 2.5-3.5 to be effective. At this acidic pH, copper compounds degrade — meaning both ingredients lose efficacy when applied together or in close sequence. The solution is simple: use Vitamin C in the morning and Cupré in the evening. They work in shifts, not against each other. Together across the day you get antioxidant protection in the morning and copper's active defence at night.
iS Clinical Copper Firming Mist — the closest international comparable — uses Copper PCA as the same hero ingredient, at a significantly higher import price point. Cupré uses the same active compound, formulated in India, for Rs. 2,000 for 50ml. The heritage story, the transparency and the Indian formulation are Cupré's own.
The formulation contains no retinoids, no salicylic acid, no AHAs, no BHAs and no synthetic fragrance — making it compatible with most pregnancy skincare guidelines. However we always recommend consulting your obstetrician or dermatologist before introducing any new skincare product during pregnancy. Patch test on the inner arm before first use regardless.
Most face mists are water with glycerin and rose extract — they hydrate the surface for approximately 20 minutes. Cupré contains copper PCA, an active ingredient with documented antimicrobial, antioxidant and pH-balancing mechanisms. It has three separate active functions beyond hydration. It is positioned and formulated as a mineral treatment, not a hydration spritz. The price reflects this difference.
